Camila Faccini de Lima wins Best Student Paper Award at SPIE Photonics West

Camila Faccini de Lima won the Best Student Paper Award recently at the prestigious SPIE Photonics West Conference in San Francisco, which is the world’s largest photonics conference. She won at the OPTO forum in the Advanced Fabrication Technologies for Micro/Nano Optics and Photonics category. Here is the link to the abstract for the presentation. A news outlet by the Luddy School of Computing, Informatics, and Engineering can be read here. The research conducted by Camila, Troy, and Mengxin was published through a conference proceeding of SPIE OPTOProceedings Volume 12433, Advanced Fabrication Technologies for Micro/Nano Optics and Photonics XVI, entitled "Creating fiber-embedded photonic circuitry by liquid-phase structuring of multi-material cores."
