Biography

Marcos Felisberto is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering of the Indiana University in Bloomington. He is a Brazilian materials scientist with experience in the synthesis of 2D nanomaterials, specially graphene and carbon nanotubes by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). He also has experience in the most common materials characterization techniques. Marcos has a PhD degree in Physics by University of Buenos Aires - Argentina, and most recently a MBA in Project Management. His research interests are in applied science, nanomaterials and nanotechnology. At the FAMES Lab Marcos is working on the development of multimaterial fiber devices for applications for quantum computing. Marcos is always interested in trying to take the science from lab to the market, through innovation and entrepreneurship. He enjoys the real football (soccer) and is a fan of Grêmio de Porto Alegre.
