FAMES Lab has recently acquired a production series performance system, Fortus 450mc from Stratasys. Fortus 450mc is a high-performance FDM system which is able to produce functional prototypes and end-use parts with exacting tolerances. This workhorse with a large build envelope is not only able to deliver parts faster, but also offers four layer thicknesses and offers a wide range of material options. Fortus 450mc is a great addition to the FAMES Lab in terms of producing preforms with complex structures with unparalleled accuracy.
